Upon arriving at Tillmanns-Haus for my second visit, I found the location to be idyllic, surrounded by nature and charming old villas that transport you to a dreamy state. The proximity to the beautiful Wannsee and a quick 20-30 minute train ride to the city center offer the best of both worlds. The warm and accommodating staff made extending my stay a breeze, eliminating the hassle of moving rooms.The room's comfort was undeniable, with a cozy bed perfect for a restful night's sleep. The highlight for me was the incredible shower, a revitalizing treat after a day of exploring. While a kettle for tea in the room would have been a welcome addition, the peaceful balcony provided a lovely spot for relaxation with a book and a snack.Tillmanns-Haus offers great value with its reasonable prices, generous breakfast for just 5 Euros, and convenient access to the highway and S-bahn station. The cleanliness and size of the rooms were suitable for my family of four, and the ease of key retrieval and daily room cleaning added to the pleasant experience.For travelers seeking a tranquil retreat close to Berlin, Tillmanns-Haus is a solid choice. The hotel's blend of affordability and comfort make it a wise option for those looking to balance luxury with value during their stay.
